All Supply Chain members can enter May Gurney? Rewards for Innovation scheme. All entries submitted will receive a ?1 lottery ticket.

What can be entered?

  • It needs to be something that can improve an aspect of the way we work.
  • It can be any good idea that you have had yourself or have seen others using.
  • It can be about your job, your sector or the work of any other sector
(Some very simple ideas have won in the past!)

How do you enter?

You can submit your entry online by completing the form further down this page, or you can supply a hard copy entry to: BISHE Dept, May Gurney, Trowse, Norwich NR14 8SZ, or to rewards@maygurney.co.uk. There should be prepaid postcards available on all sites to help those submitting an entry by post – remember to write 'Supply Chain' as your sector on the form.

What happens next?

When received, your entry will be registered and a copy sent to your sector (this will be Amanda Black for Supply Chain members). Each sector? entries will be assessed once a quarter at the sector management meeting and the best idea selected. The best ideas from each sector go forward to the annual final, which will be judged by the CET (The Chief Executive Team, consisting of David Sterry, Richard Dean, Ian Findlater, Mike Dunn and Allyson Ablett)

What? the reward?

There are four ways to win.

1. All entries are rewarded with a ?1 lotto ticket.
2. In addition, all entries go into a monthly draw for a prize of ?50 per sector - the more ideas you submit the more chances you have of winning!
3. If you win your quarterly sector you will receive ?100.
4. You will then be entered into the final where the first prize is ?1000; ?500 for second and ?250 for third.

We are featuring the Rail Sector in Q1 2006 but all ideas are welcome – use the attached form to submit your idea today!
