Sewerage Networks Services

May Gurney Sewerage Networks are able to offer specialist provision or a completely integrated service to Sewer Network asset owners.

Asset Condition Surveys

Specialist services include sewer asset condition assessment using CCTV units to identify and classify the defects found. In addition, we have recently invested in a sewer light profile tool to better assess the structural integrity of a sewer and measure deformation of the internal bore of the pipe being surveyed.

Our condition surveys can also be extended to include ancillary structures such as manholes, chambers and we also have the correct competency in confined spaces entry to allow walk through inspections for man entry culverts or similar larger structures.

Cleansing and Blockage Clearance Services

Where asset owners require emergency blockage clearance our jetting and vactor fleet can offer support to remove obstruction and silt from sewers and culverts ranging from small diameter drains to large bore man entry culverts.

Should sewerage systems require continuous maintenance, our teams can offer a framework service to plan and implement maintenance cleansing programmes to meet our client's needs, work within their operational budgets and co-ordinate activities with their own operational networks teams.

If inclement weather or asset failure causes a flooding incident, our teams are always on hand to respond with emergency clean-up operations.

Collapse Sewer Repair

Should a collapse occur or the risk of failure be identified during routine asset surveys or cleansing operations, we have the capability to provide experience drainage teams that can dig down and repair the sewer.

These construction teams have the correct competency needed; including street-works management, confined spaces training, experienced in the safe support and shoring of deep excavations, use of appropriate PPE and appropriate excavator equipment.

Specialist Trenchless Sewer Repair and Renovation

Part of our portfolio includes specialist no dig trenchless sewer repair and renovation services using patch repairs and CIPP (Cured in place Pipe) Lining system.

These no-dig operatives allow structural resolution of either isolated sections of sewer in a given length using the Patch Repair or complete manhole to manhole relining using CIPP.

Trenchless sewer renovation means less disruption to customers, minimum traffic management and protects the environment.

As part of our development of sewer lining, we have recently successfully modified our processes to allow CIPP and patching to be used to reduce infiltration and in turn support our client's need to reduce flooding.
