Mini Piling

May Gurney Geotechnical have a piling fleet which includes custom built rigs for low headroom and restricted access situations. We can access doorways with a minimum width of 1.2m and work within a minimum height of 3.3m.

As market leader in the Rail, highway and Retail sectors, we offer low vibration piling solutions for bridge abutments, gantries, tunnels, retaining walls, slope stabilisation, internal piling and the ability to work within 500mm of existing buildings.

Our vast experience of both CFA and rotary percussive techniques allow us to overcome the most difficult ground conditions, and offer diameters of 300 - 600mm, capacities up to 1500KN and achieve depths up to 20m.

We offer coring and down-the-hole hammer techniques to overcome hard layers and some man-made obstructions in awkward access locations.

In some circumstances, e.g. headroom of 5 to 7m, but where a larger working area is available, our full-sized piling rigs can be modified to incorporate a much shorter mast. These rigs potentially give even better outputs than our custom built mini rigs. The mast of 6m height enables deep piles to be constructed with fewer auger connections.
