Client: Cambridge County Council
Project: Coldhams Lane Cycle Bridge
Completed: 2004
Value: £1.2 million

This 103m long, four span continuous tubular steel bridge passes over an electrified section of the Bethnal Green to Kings Lynn railway.

The 3.5m wide deck has a separate footway and cycleway, with contrasting surfacing.

An enclosed polycarbonate structure extends over the railway section to satisfy railway infrastructure protection requirements, but has been designed to enable maintenance of the enclosure to be wholly undertaken from within.
