The project involved the provision of acute elderly facilities at the West Norwich Hospital comprising one 36-bed unit, one 40-bed unit, a 30-place day hospital and a chapel.

Associated infrastructure, roads, drainage and hard and soft landscaping completed the contract.

The project involved the partial demolition, refurbishment, alteration and extension of existing buildings to provide office space and interview rooms for the Trust’s administrative staff.

In addition, a new tug store was built, complete with a wash down area. The building was of steel-framed, metal-clad construction with fair-faced blockwork walls internally.
