Recycling electrical goods (WEEE)
We offer a recycling service for electrical goods and appliances at all of our sites.
The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE Directive) was introduced into UK law in January 2007 to encourage everyone to reuse, recycle and recover electrical and electronic equipment.
We are a member of weee connect , the industry alliance promoting responsible recycling of WEEE (waste electrical and electronic equipment).
Weee connect is an industry partnership of the UK's largest WEEE producer compliance schemes and reprocessors. It aims to increase public awareness of the need to recycle WEEE. In the absence of a significant Government campaign weee connect believes it is critical to raise awareness in order for the UK to improve its WEEE collection rate.
