Our aims for improving the sustainability of our resource consumption are to:
- reduce our consumption of non-renewable resources through improved operational efficiency and adoption of renewable alternatives
- adopt new technologies, materials and working practices that deliver improved customer service and lower lifecycle costs
- engage with our supply chain in all areas for the ethical purchase, consumption and conservation of energy
May Gurney will focus on four key areas for sustainable resources.
We will look to:
- integrate energy and resource management into our Business Management systems
- continue to use and explore consumption management practices and waste minimisation in our offices and operations
- give guidance to our suppliers about our goals for social and environmental sustainability
- provide environmental and social performance data to our clients and stakeholders to help develop partnerships for improvement
