Cable Percussion Drilling Rigs:
In-situ soil testing and sampling, mainly 6 to 8 inch diameter to depths of 30m. Installation of groundwater and gas monitoring wells and inclinometers.

Terrier Rigs:
Dynamic probing to 25m. Windowless sampling to 10m. Capable of casing up to 105mm diameter. Able to perform insitu standard penetration tests.

Dynamic Probing Rigs:
Standard dynamic probing to depths up to 25m. Drive-in window sample cores (lined and unlined) to depths up to 7m. Capable of installing up to 50mm diameter piezometers and slip indicators. 100m of probing and 25m window sampling a day is typical, depending on ground conditions. Ideal for restricted access and sensitive sites.

Static Cone Penetrometer Testing:
Rapid, near continuous soil profile determination to depths up to 40m. Immediate results. Specialist testing including pore water pressures, pressuremeter testing, contamination assessment and seismic surveys possible.

Rotary Drilling:
Drilling through rock and hard soils to any depth. In-situ testing and sampling: Various core barrel diameters available. Piezometer and inclinometer installations.

In-Situ California Bearing Ratio (CBR Testing):
Rapid sub-grade assessment for pavement design, typically 8 to 10 tests per day. Landrover mounted apparatus, rapid mobilisation.

Concrete Coring:
Core up to 8 inch diameter holes.

Rotary Drilling and Hollow Stem Augering:
Drilling through rock and hard soils to any depth using our new Beretta T41 hydraulic rig.

Factual & Interpretive Reporting:
Undertaken by our team of geotechnical & geoenvironmental engineers tailoring reports to the client's engineering and value requirements. Investigations are carried out throughout mainland UK.

Gas Monitoring Equipment:
Capability for CO2, CH4 and O2. Photo ionisation detectors for on site hydrocarbon analysis. Alternatives available on request.

Laboratory Equipment:
In-house capability for classification testing, strength testing, earthworks testing and aggressive soil classification. UKAS accredited. Other advanced testing available on request. Soil and groundwater chemistry testing for environmental applications.

Geophysical Testing:
Ground probing radar, electromagnetic surveys and micro-gravity surveys. Others available on request.
