May Gurney careers > Trainees

A traineeship is a fantastic opportunity to learn on the job, gain highly valued qualifications - and earn a great salary at the same time.

It involves attending college on block release or one day a week, and getting on the job training and development.

As a trainee at May Gurney you will receive support from our Starting Out Officer, who will guide you through our in-house development plan. Your personal mentor and line manager will also help you to maximise your opportunities and long-term career progression.

How do I apply?
To apply to be a trainee you need to contact your local college and obtain information on your desired qualification. Some colleges hold open days or enrolment days, at which you can talk to tutors about the qualification that interests you. Most colleges will want to interview you before accepting you on a course.

You will also need to apply to May Gurney. Click here for details of our current trainee opportunities and to apply online.
