Gas seminar - sponsorship agreed

May Gurney is to be one of the main sponsors of the GAS 2006 seminar, which will take place in London during October.

The Director General for Energy, Willy Rickett, has been invited to deliver the keynote address at GAS 2006, which is organised each autumn by IGEM (Institution of Gas Engineers & Managers) and SBGI.

With members in more than 70 countries, IGEM is the leading independent professional body serving a wide range of gas engineers and managers in the UK and international gas industry. It is one of the world's foremost authorities for gas related commercial and technical matters, and develops and promotes industry expertise worldwide.

IGEM provides a forum for sharing gas industry knowledge through its programme of local, national and international events - including conferences, seminars and workshops.

The GAS 2006 seminar and accompanying exhibition will take place on 5 October at the DTI Conference Suite at 1 Victoria Street, London.
