Interim MD appointed

Clive Read - who has extensive utilities, construction and asset management experience - has been appointed Interim Managing Director of May Gurney Utility Services.

Clive has held a number of interim executive positions over the last decade. Prior to joining May Gurney, he was based in the US as Senior Vice President of AT Hudson. In that role he headed up the outsourcing of a major utility company's field force, and an efficiency improvement programme.

Earlier in his career, Clive was Managing Director of Biwater International and then Main Board Director of Biwater Plc responsible for all engineering and construction; and Operations Director of John Brown E&C Ltd - where he was responsible for a £5bn oil, gas and infrastructure project portfolio.
