BRB extends Rail Services' Framework Contract

May Gurney Rail Services has been awarded a 12-month extension to the Framework Contract it holds with BRB (Residuary) Ltd. The contract will now run to the end of March 2007.

The contract, which May Gurney has held for the past three years, delivers the maintenance and repair of redundant railway structures to ensure they remain in a safe condition on behalf of BRB (Residuary) Ltd.

The contract now covers the whole of England and Wales, after its geographical coverage was extended to include southern regions.

Typical works include the refurbishment and renovation - and occasional demolition - of bridges, viaducts and tunnels.

Russell Adams, Managing Director Rail Services, says: " May Gurney is extremely pleased that BRB (Residuary) Ltd has offered us an extension to this contract.

The Rail Services team takes great pride in this contract and is looking forward to successfully delivering the large variety of projects planned over the months ahead."
