New signalling framework anticipated

May Gurney is close to securing a new framework agreement with Network Rail for part of its minor signalling work. Individual items of work under the framework are expected range in value from approximately £50,000 to £5 million, with the framework agreement lasting for five years.

Steve Jagger, Managing Director, Engineering and Project Services, said: "This important potential award consolidates May Gurney's position within the rail sector and complements the London North East (LNE) civils framework which we have held since 1997.

"The signalling team is working incredibly hard to secure the framework and will utilise its complete range of skills and expertise to deliver signalling schemes to the client's ultimate satisfaction."
