Canaries and seagulls battle it out at Carrow Road

The Lord Mayor of Norwich, Councillor Michael Banham (centre in pic), kindly hosted a May Gurney delegation at the Norwich City versus Brighton & Hove Albion match in Norwich on Valentine's evening.

David Short (right in pic), Communications Manager for the East Sussex Highways partnership, and Eric Portchmouth (left in pic), Transport Policy Manager for East Sussex County Council made the long trip up from the south coast. According to David, a 'Seagulls' season ticket holder, it was a 'fairly evenly contested game, not reflected in the 3-0 scoreline'.

It was a long drive back to Sussex - especially for David, who had to endure bragging from Eric, a life long Canaries fan.
