Business park gets 'spruced up'
West Sussex County Council 's 'Highway Rangers' - provided by May Gurney - spearheaded a 'spruce up' of Lancing Business Park on 2 October.

The two-man crew and their distinctive vehicle are a familiar sight in West Sussex. They carry out small scale but essential tasks including clearing vegetation overhanging paths and roads, hedge trimming and cleaning signs.

Adur District Council Street Scene team co-ordinated the 'Spruce it Up' campaign and on the day there were helpers from Adur District Council, West Sussex County Council, Sussex Police, West Sussex Fire and Rescue and Lancing Business Park Limited.

Councillor Keith Dollemore said: "Working together like this creates a great sense of community, it show's that people care about their local environment."
