Sign shop opens to improve service in Sussex

In a move to improve service to the East Sussex Highways partnership and newly formed West Sussex Highways alliance, May Gurney has opened a new sign manufacturing workshop in the area.

The workshop offers a full range of services from sign design, to manufacture and erection/installation.

Gary Robinson, May Gurney's Supervisor for Signs and Structures, says: "We developed a strong business case for the workshop and the company happily made the required investment in equipment and software."

The workshop is also producing signs for other organisations including local Neighbourhood Watch schemes.

Ian Johnson, East Sussex County Council's Traffic & Safety Manager, has commented that the quality of signs has improved significantly since the workshop opened, and says he is looking forward to his team working closely with the workshop.
