February - IPO of the Year
We won 'The Simcocks M&A AIM IPO of the Year' award in recognition of our successful transformation from private to public company in June 2006. The award was presented to David Sterry, CEO and Mike Dunn, Group FD - at the awards ceremony on 28 February.

October - East of England Construction Training Awards
We enjoyed double success at the East Of England Construction Training awards, which were hosted by Sir Ranulph Feinnes. The MAD programme picked up the Construction Health & Safety Best Practice Award - and Construction Graduate of the Year, was presented to Jason Brooks (now a site agent).

November - Historic Bridge & Infrastructure Award

November - Green Apple Awards
For the second year running, we were successful at the annual Green Apple Awards, which recognise and reward environmental best practice around the world. We received an award in the Building and Construction category for our consideration of environmental issues during the design and construction for 9km of pipeline connecting the Pynnes and Tottiford Water Treatment Works in Devon.
