Senior assignments to meet ambitious growth plans

Two members of May Gurney's senior management team have been assigned new responsibilities in order to help the company achieve its very ambitious plans for growth over the next five years. The five-year plan challenges the company to develop more business with existing and new customers, and through business acquisitions.

Ian Findlater takes on new Board responsibilities as Business Development Director. His brief is to ensure customer relationship best practice is operating right across the company. His new responsibilities comprise sales and marketing strategy; partnerships and joint ventures; customer relationship management; and market intelligence. Ian also continues to have responsibility for the company's Plant & Transport operation, and Ayton Products.

As Director of Corporate Development, Tim Read will spearhead May Gurney's acquisition strategy. He is responsible for the identification, negotiation and successful integration of acquired businesses, and is based at company HQ in Norwich. Tim was formerly Managing Director of May Gurney's Utilities Services business.
