Step change advances 'Best gas business' strategy

The Willows acquisition has strengthened May Gurney's position in the gas market, and is in line with the company's ambitious plan to be 'twice the size by 2012'.
The new May Gurney office - just off junction 23 of the M6 at Golborne on Merseyside - provides a comprehensive construction and maintenance service for gas transmission and distribution pipelines, and gas mains.
In addition, specialist teams based there undertake maintenance activities on valves, pressure vessels and dosing systems as well as above ground apparatus such as Governor Stations and Gas Holders.
