Two appointments strengthen senior management team
Two recent appointments have further strengthened May Gurney’s senior management team.
Clive Perceval took up the position of managing director (Building) on 1 June. The appointment is a result of our success in growing the Facility Services’ business, and in particular securing the North Lincolnshire BSF project.
Clive, who is from a QS background, has more than 30 years’ experience within building and construction. Prior to joining May Gurney he was MD of Shepherd Construction’s southern division, and before that spent eight years as regional MD at Mansell.
Clive said: “May Gurney has a great reputation and is renowned for providing great opportunities - the emphasis is very much on growing the business.
“I’m very much looking forward to my new role and playing my part in further developing a strong and profitable Facility Services’ business.”

Nick Salt has joined May Gurney as operations director for Project and Rail Engineering Services.
Nick has more than 15 years’ experience in civil engineering, 12 of those in rail, and joins May Gurney from Birse Rail where he was frameworks general manager. Nick is responsible for our civils and operational property framework agreements with Network Rail and is also overseeing tendered projects.
John Wilkinson, managing director Rail Services, said: “Nick shares May Gurney’s commitment to maintaining and enhancing the UK’s rail networks and structures to improve the daily commute for thousands of passengers.”
