Water director appointed

Kerry has 26 years’ contracting experience, 20 of which he has spent in the UK water sector. A chartered civil engineer and former director of Gleeson Construction Services and Black & Veatch, Kerry has been involved in winning and delivering design and construction framework agreements throughout the south and west of the UK.
With knowledge of water and waste as well as infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects, his focus will be on delivering value to our water company customers, growing our market share and continuing the drive towards safer working.
Kerry said: “I’m very happy to join May Gurney at a time of change and challenge in our industry. Procurement processes for Amp 5 are gathering momentum, the stakes are high and we need to pull out all the stops to succeed.
“May Gurney is well placed and has the right skills to deliver exactly the sort of infrastructure services in which water companies must continue to invest for their customers’ well being.
“Our corporate business model offers an excellent match with many water company values and cultures, adding further strength to our bid for selection. I’m looking forward to being part of a growing and successful business.”
