Ahead of schedule

Work on the new £1m research centre we are building for the Morley Agricultural Foundation (MAF) in Norfolk is ahead of programme and due for completion by Christmas 2008.

Work began on site in April and the new ‘state of the art’ building, which will be known as the Morley Business Centre, includes an environmentally friendly ground source heating system. The system uses a pump to extract heat from pipe work laid in the ground, which in turn heats the building and provides all its hot water. Using resources from across May Gurney the car parking facilities for the development were constructed by our in-house ground works team.

The project was negotiated under the NEC form of contract, and awarded to May Gurney following a recommendation by another of our education customers in Norfolk, Easton College.
