Big step for Burgh

The people of Burgh are thrilled with the road, and recently more than 200 of them gathered for a two-mile 'adoption walk'. The road was officially blessed by Father Terry Steele and the ribbon cut by 95-year-old Gladys Waite, thought to be Burgh's oldest resident - who said she was 'proud and privileged' to have been invited.
The bypass was built under the Lincolnshire County Council framework, which is easing congestion and improving safety in a number of towns and villages across the county. The bypass was officially opened on 30 November - four months ahead of schedule.
