Top marks at Winterton

The project was one of a series of commissions secured as part of a four-year partnering framework contract with Norfolk County Council, which will see major improvements at 36 schools around the county.
Improving the existing accommodation has created sufficient teaching space to accommodate additional children when it becomes a primary school in September.
Building work has provided a hall, a classroom, servery, storage and toilets, including disabled provision. A new corridor has been constructed to improve circulation around the school, and the existing building has been remodelled to provide office accommodation, a group room, staff room, library, storage, toilets and new planting.

Rosalie Monbiot, Norfolk County Council's cabinet member for children's services, said: "We're delighted with the new and improved buildings at Winterton. It's going to benefit the local community and especially pupils, parents and staff, for many years to come."
The work commenced in July 2006 and was completed in May 2007.
