Our relationship with Ericsson has been continuous since they secured the Managed Services outsourcing contract with 3 in 2005. Prior to this we had a direct relationship with 3 from 2002.

Currently we inspect and maintain around 7,000 of their mobile telecommunication cell sites, directly with our own people, across the whole of the United Kingdom.

Asset inspection and maintenance
We supply inspection, maintenance, weed control and asset information reporting and management (site services database) of macrocell network infrastructure assets, including 17th Edition electrical certification.

The scope of works covered is structural, electrical and H&S (including assessments around ICNIRP) on greenfield, existing mast and rooftop sites. Antennae and feeders are also included.

The contract features KPIs and targets for performance factors.

Asset data capture and condition reporting
Our own site services database, Intercom, has been specifically developed by us for use in the delivery of network infrastructure maintenance and inspection services in the mobile/wireless telecommunications sector.

Intercom is utilised by our staff and our customers for the full life cycle of inspection and maintenance management, including:-

• Scheduling
• Full Asset Catalogue
• Detailed on-site data capture
• Live reporting of inspection details with photographic evidence
• Document hosting
• Client management of maintenance requests
• Full life cycle maintenance status and reporting
• Detailed trending and analysis reporting.
