We’ve been working with Western Power Distribution for several years and in 2008 we were awarded a new three-year contract with a total value of around £24m.
Western Power Distribution, the electricity distribution company for southwest England and south and west Wales, delivers electricity to 2.5 million customers over a 26,000 sq kms service area.
Our measured term contract covers excavation, cable laying and reinstatement works in six areas of Devon and Cornwall - Barnstaple, Bodmin, Exeter, Plymouth, Redruth and Torquay.
The contract is for a three-year fixed term, with an option to extend by one or two years.
In addition, we undertake pole erection, civil engineering and MEICA works valued at an additional £1m per annum.
