We have worked with South West Water for many years and our long-term maintenance contract for integrated water distribution services was renewed in April 2010.
The contract is valued at up to £170m over a period of up to 10 years and includes an expanded geographical area. It covers repair and maintenance work to the clean water network, including metering, for the whole South West Water region. Our previous contract only covered part of the region.
The contract is for an initial period of three years with a total value of up to £50m, plus possible extensions for up to 10 years with a total value of up to £170m.
The services we are delivering include reactive and planned maintenance, leak repairs, new connections, the installation maintenance and renewal of water meters and emergency maintenance and repairs.
This comprises around 91,000 works orders per annum, emphasising our essential role at the front-line of service delivery for South West Water's customers across the whole region.
